Adelusola Ebenezer Femi (born 27 September 1990), popularly known as Olakira which literally translates to “Shining Star” in Swahili, is a Nigerian Afro Pop recording artist. He records mostly in Yoruba and English.
Early life
Adelusola Ebenezer Adefemi was born in Ogun State. He studied Mass Communication at Moshood Abiola Polytechnic.
Music career
2019: “Wakanda Jollof EP”
On July 12, 2019, Nigerian singer, Olakira released his 7-track EP, ‘Wakanda Jollof’. It housed singles such as Aya Mi (My Love),Money Groove, Wakanda Jollof, Till Dawn, amongst others.
Songs Released in 2020
He released two singles, In My Maserati & LoveSick, in 2020. In My Maserati grew to be one of the most played songs across the African music scene, topping charts on Apple Music Top 100 songs in Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, Gambia, Zimbabwe, Zambia, and the Dominican Republic.
